The Indian Plast Pack Forum, popularly known as IPPF, was founded in 1996 by prominent figures in the plastic and packaging industry, making it the oldest representative body in central India. Established as a registered company, IPPF has made significant strides in all aspects of plastic and packaging. It is headquartered in Indore, the prestigious economic capital of Madhya Pradesh and the cleanest city in India. The forum’s office is located at 429, Orbit Mall, Scheme No. 54, Vijay Nagar, A.B. Road, Indore.
IPPF has been supported by well-known personalities and led by visionary leaders such as Shri Subhash Chaturvedi, Shri Hitesh Mehta, Shri Anil Choudhary, Shri Praveen Agarwal, and Shri Vrajesh Gandhi. Currently, the forum is headed by Shri Sachin Bansal.
The forum serves as a platform for members to gain insights through interactions with industry veterans. It disseminates information on process developments, material advancements, technological improvements, and market trends through various activities such as seminars, webinars, symposiums, lectures, study tours, and factory visits.
Before IPPF’s establishment, industrialists and entrepreneurs in the plastic and packaging industry had to travel to Bombay or Delhi to learn about new developments and showcase their products. With the advent of IPPF, national-level exhibitions, known as “Plastpack,” have been organized at regular intervals. The forum has successfully hosted “Plastpack-97,” “Plastpack-2000,” “Plastpack-2003,” “Plastpack-2010,” “Plastpack-2014,” “Plastpack-2016,” and “Plastpack-2018,” all of which received overwhelming responses from the industry and the public.
IPPF has also arranged visits to various exhibitions like Indexpo, Plexpo, Iplex, Plastindia, Plastivision, and Chinaplas. Additionally, visits to industrial units such as Daman industrial units, the RIL plant at Jamnagar, Jain Irrigation Systems in Jalgaon, IOC refinery in Panipat, and the RIL Hazira plant have been organized.
